Dave Curro, Founder, CEO, Chairman of the Board
Dave is a parent of an adult with a developmental disability. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Alliance Health. He is also a past Chair of Alliance's Consumer & Family Advocacy Committee. Dave facilitated a parent support group for families and caregivers of adults with developmental disabilities in Wake and Durham Counties, NC. He is retired from the US Army and was a Quality Engineer in civilian life. Dave spends most of his time volunteering and is developing an inclusive community for the IDD and Disabled Veteran/First Responder populations.
Dave Has a BS in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.

Chris Dale, Board Member
Chris is a parent of a young adult on the autism spectrum. He is an 8-year member of the Consumer & Family Advocacy Committee for Alliance Health. Chris has been active in many local parent groups that have arisen to address the complex issues of future care facing parents of adult children with developmental disabilities. These groups include the Next Steps group that was created to bring information, awareness and practical solutions to parents struggling with how to care for children with IDD after aging out of available supports after high school.
Chris is the sales director for a worldwide supplier of air pollution testing instruments designed to address requirements of the Clean Air Act of 1970.


Sandy Johnson, Board Member
Sandy brings over 2 decades of experience in the construction industry, having worked as a Corporate Secretary/Treasurer for 21 years. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership have made her a valuable asset in both personal and professional roles.
Prior to her career in construction, Sandy worked as a Veterinary Technician and Office Manager., where she developed a deep sense of compassion,
efficiency, and client care-qualities she continues to carry into her professional community work today.
Sandy is a dedicated mother to two adult children, including a son with autism, which has fueled her passion for advocacy and community development.
She has proudly served on the board of Midtown Housing Coalition for the past 3 years, were she contributes her expertise and personal insight to help advance the organizations mission of creating inclusive housing opportunities.

Amanda Valmassoi, Board Member
Amanda is a Grandparent. She has experience in affordable housing management. She is an active member of her church.
Chris Anderson, Board Member
Chris is the Founder and President of DGH, a real estate development firm based in Durham, NC dedicated to creating vibrant, sustainable communities. Chris's passion for the industry has been shaped by a lifelong connection to real estate, beginning in childhood when they helped stack wood at the coastal cottages their family owned and rented in DownEast Maine, a property that Chris still manages today as a partner.
Chris is committed to building communities that foster connection and resilience. He understands that thriving neighborhoods are the foundation for healthy, prosperous lives and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the people and places he touches. Chris's focus is on building communities from the bottom up, not just increasing personal wealth. He approaches each project with the same innovative, compassionate problem-solving mindset that has defined every aspect of their life.
Chris is also a survivor of many developmental traumas and has an Adverse Childhood Experiences Survey score of 6. He is an acknowledged subject matter expert on emotional healing, resiliency, and the unique dynamics of the male experience of trauma. He is also a graduate of St John's College in Annapolis, MD.
